About us
SUSU Keramika is a hungarian handbuilt ceramic brand by Flóra Bodnár and Szaffi Asbóth. These ceramics were formed, and painted by their hands. The most specific feature of these objects are the tender roughness and the trace of fingerprints. The patterns are carefully designed and as a final touch, every piece is highlighted with golden details. The patterns on them are led by the special form of the ceramics and the beautiful colour combinations. Every single piece is unique and one of a kind. Flóra studied design at METU, and Szaffi studied textile design at MOME. After they finished university and before they have met and started to work together they both worked for few years. They invented Susu style together, they have experimented with clay, colours and glazes a lot and after a while the brand was born. They work together seven years now.

Information
All of our ceramics are handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces, created with care and intention. This means that small variations in size, shape, and glaze are part of their charm – no two items are exactly alike, and they may carry subtle irregularities that reflect the hand of the maker.
Our ceramics are safe to use with food, so feel free to enjoy your morning coffee or evening soup from them.
However, please avoid putting them in the microwave or dishwasher, as the glaze may crack and the ceramic may be damaged over time. Handwashing and a little extra love will help your piece last for many years to come.
Thank you for supporting handmade!
